February and part of March was warm enough for my scuppernongs to sprout and wisteria to blossom then we had our last hurrah of winter. It shouldn’t be a surprise for it happens every year but the warmth made us forget that what we had was a faux spring.
It’s time for gardeners and gardener-ish folks to get busy in the garden. Its just simple joy to go through seed catalogs and peruse the many flowers at the garden centers. It is agony not to buy everything we see but we know we can’t. It’s hard to restrain ourselves in spring.
I’ve had a few people ask me what they could do to help in our fledgling community garden. So, I’ve made a list of things we will need. The first one is the most important.
Finally, @centuryhopegarden would like to thank the Spencer’s for their help and interest this season and can’t wait to see everyone at The Garden!!!
